If a student is deactivated or withdrawn in Canvas you can not see the assessment results in the gradebook by default.
Enable ability to view deactivated students
In the Gradebook
- Click the Settings Cog
- Enable the option to "Show inactive enrolments"
The inactive student will now be visible in the Gradebook and you can even follow their assignment into Speedgrader to see comments, etc.
