Problem

When adding teachers to Canvas Courses, you may receive an error "We were unable to find matches below".

Solution

Try adding the user via "Login ID" using their Active Directory username.

  1. Add user(s) by: Login ID
  2. Login IDs (Required): Enter their active directory username, e.g. "nicholas.johnson"
