When there are multiple email addresses (alias) linked to your Office365 login, you will sometimes be required to send from these addresses instead of your primary address (for example an @aieinstitute.com.au address )

Step-by-step guide

The following steps only need to be performed once, from there you will always have the "from" field.

Open your Outlook application and create a new email

  1. In the new message window, click the options tab
  2. In the options tab, click the "from" button

In cases where you are using the simplified ribbon, you can access the same option from the "dots" button at the end of the ribbon:
  3. You will now have a "From" box above the "To", click it and select "other addresses"
  4. In the box that appears, type in the email address you want to send from and click "OK":
  5. Once completed, when you click the "from" Field, your additional email will be available, and both that address and the from field will be available from every email from here.

You are only able to send as addresses that have been assigned to you by IT.

If you are unable to send as an address, or receive a "bounce" message when sending, please contact the IT service desk.
