Public Folders are accessible to all staff with varying levels of permissions
Permissions for the Marketing Calendars are managed by Heads of Marketing

Step-by-step guide

Outlook for Windows (Desktop App)

  1. Open Outlook then select the square icon on the left shown below:
  2. Select Folders, then scroll down and expand "Public Folders", then expand "All Public Folders"
  3. From here, expand the folder for the Calendar/Folder you want to add
  4. Right-click the Calendars you wish to add and select "Add to Favourites"

Now that the calendars you wanted to add have been favourited, you can simply navigate back to the regular Calendar view in Outlook, and will see the calendar folders appear under "Other Calendars" in both Outlook for Desktop and the Online version of Outlook

Outlook Online (Not required if already done above method)

  1. Open the Outlook Online Portal: https://outlook.office.com/mail
  2. On the main page, put your mouse over "Folders" then click the three dot icon, and select "Add public folder to Favourites"
  3. From the list, expand "All Public Folders", then expand the next folder e.g "Marketing Calendars"
  4. From here you will need to select one calendar/folder then click the "Add Public Folder" button at the top.
  5. Repeat step 4 for each calendar you want to add

Now that the folders have been favourited, they will show up in your calendar under "Other Calendars"
