If you would like to list available software updates and install them via PDQ inventory, use the following tools available on DCUTIL1.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Scan and List Available Updates
    1. Right Click a PC within PDQ Inventory
    2. Select Tools > (Windows Updates) Scan and List Available Updates
  2. Install Available Updates
    1. Right Click the PC again
    2. Select Tools > (Windows Updates) Install Available Updates


Note: The first command will return output in PDQ, showing you all the available software updates. The second command will timeout, but is working - which you can confirm by watching the processes of the PC remotely which should show activity on wuauctl.exe (Windows Update Agent) after a few minutes.
