SOE Currently In Testing

The Standard Operating Environment (SOE) image for 2022 is currently in testing by faculty on the following PCs; please ensure testing is conducted using a student test account.

Known issues:

  • DoomBuilder fails to install.
  • Perforce is missing, will be deployed in January as needs to be timed with a server upgrade.
  • Deadline is missing, will be included shortly once we confirm Renderfarm is not required for 2021 as needs to be timed with a server upgrade.


Adobe Licensing Update

Adobe Applications such as Photoshop is licensed for Diploma/Adv. Diploma Art, Game Art, Design and VFX Students only. Beginning on January 5th, 2022 Students have now been moved to new Adobe licensing method.

Student login using their student email address and select "Company or School Account" to Adobe applications on all AIE classroom, loan PCs and home PCs.

  • Extra Perk: This account also licenses you to install Adobe applications onto 3 personal devices, such as your home PC.
  • Faculty Note: Faculty login using the "Personal Account" option.
