Using the Context Menu within Protege GX you can apply a series of Override options.
Some things to take note of:
- Context Menu commands will affect only the Selected Door.
- You can have Multiple Doors setup with an Override but you will have to perform them one at a time.
- Selecting Multiple Doors at once will only affect the first Selected Door.
Accessing the Context Menu:
- In Protege GX,
- Navigate to Programming > Doors.
- Left Click a Door.
Note: Selecting Multiple Doors will Only affect the first Selected Door. - Right Click to bring up the Context Menu.

What do these Commands do?:
Door Control:
- Lock - Locks the Door.
- Unlock - Temporarily Unlocks the Door.
- Unlock Latched - Unlocks the Door until it is Locked by another Command, Schedule or other process.
Door Lockdown:
Lockdown options act as an Override State, it forces the Door into a Locked state, some options allow or deny users to use their access to still enter or exit. "Clear" can be used to remove the Lockdown.
- Allow Entry - The Door will be Locked and Access will be Allowed by Users who Enter.
- Allow Exit - The Door will be Locked and Access will be Allowed by Users who Exit.
- Allow Entry + Exit - The Door will be Locked and Access will be Allowed by all Users in both directions.
- Deny Entry + Exit - The Door will be Locked and Access will be Denied by all Users in both directions.
- Clear - Clears the Lockdown State and returns them to their Original state.
View Recent Events:
- View Recent Events - Shows Recent Events for the selected Door.
