Please note, Students by default do NOT have access to the VPN, and must be a member of the "Student VPN users" AD group - Approval to add to this group is required. |
- Open a web browser (such as Firefox, Chrome etc) and enter the following address:
- https://aus.vpn.aie.edu/ (For Australian Staff)
- https://sea.vpn.aie.edu/ (For Seattle Staff) *See Below Info
- https://lft.vpn.aie.edu/ (For Lafayette Staff)
- You will be presented with a Sophos User portal, enter your AIE username and password, along with the characters showing in the Captcha:
- Once you have successfully logged in, you will see some options Under Sophos Connect Client, click 'Download for Windows'.
- This will start a download, once complete run the downloaded file.
You may be prompted if you wish to continue, click "Yes". - Once the installation application pops up, click “Next”, followed by “I Agree”, then “Install”.
- Once completed you will end up with Sophos Connect icon in your system tray in the bottom right of your screen:
If you can see this, the VPN is installed. - Next Under VPN configuration, click 'Download for Windows, macOS, Linux'
- Once downloaded go to its location and doubleclick it.
