IT are beginning to rollout the new Windows 10 image and software to classrooms allocated for holiday courses starting Wednesday, 8th January.

  • Adelaide: L5 North Studio
  • Sydney: Fish Bowl, Visual Studio
  • Canberra: Studio 1, 2, 3, 5 & 6
  • Melbourne: L2.01, L2.02

If there are classrooms missing from this list, please immediately bring to the attention IT Service Desk on 02 6163 9500.

Requested & Supported Software:

The following software has been requested and is supported for the holiday courses:

  • Visual Studio 2019
  • Maya 2019 (Note: Autodesk no longer roll out updates to Educational customers at the same time, 2019.1 and 2019.2 is not available to us)
  • Unity 2019.2.17f1
Note: No Adobe software, including Photoshop will be available for holiday or certificate courses due to licensing changes beginning this year

Start of Term Update

General

  • Software continuing to be rolled out over next few days, and weekend. Important that PCs are not turned off, disconnected or unplugged by unauthorised staff.

Canberra

  • Replacement PCs and monitors in Studio 2 to be installed Friday, 31st.

Melbourne

  • Image to remaining PCs beginning to roll out today, Thursday 30th. Expecting to be done by COB Thursday.

Sydney

  • Awaiting delivery of cables required for new PCs in Dojo. Expecting delivery around lunch time Thursday.

Update on Unity & Unity Hub

Unity is currently being has been deployed to all holiday classroom PCs, please note the Editor will need to be launched from Unity Hub in order to be licensed.
