2023 Changelog

Added "Supported Services", detailing what web-services.
Most software Versions have changed, view "Version" columns
New software added:
- JetBrains Rider
- Adobe Illustrator (Supported for limited students only)
- Arnold for Maya
New services supported:
- Turnitin - Canvas plagiarism checker
Adding support for Lafayette General Education Subjects & creation of new Canvas courses
Microsoft Edge to become the default browser due to it's better support for Single Sign On (SSO), with Firefox and Chrome still available
Support for PS5 dev kit
Wacom has dropped support for the following tablets; these tablets have been phased out for loans.
- Intuos (CTH-480, CTL-480, CTH-680, CTL-680)
- Intuos 5 (PTH-450, PTK-450, PTH-650, PTK-650, PTH-850)
- Cintiq 24HD (DTH-2400, DTK-2400)
- Cintiq Companion (DTH-W1300)

ITCM-5226 - December Shutdown Period: Upgrade Deadline & Repositories to 10.1.23 or later for all AUS campuses
ITCM-5215 - December Shutdown Period: Migrate Canvas & IT Service Desk authentication from Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS) to native Azure Active Directory (AAD)
ITCM-5326 - December Shutdown Period: Upgrade SideFX floating license server for Foundry software (Nuke)
ITCM-5335 - December Shutdown Period: Migrating the 3DEqualizer floating license server to a more stable host

Testing Responsibilities

HoF, or their delegates are responsible for testing/validating:

Ensuring that available software, plugins/add-ons and integrations meet faculty and student needs.
Ensuring that available plugins and software integrations are functional.
Ensuring that services, including web-services required by the faculty and students are documented as a Supported Service.
