In Testing

Note: This new service is currently in testing phase, and isn't fully implemented yet.

Step-by-step guide

  1. In a web browser, go to https://rds01.it.aie.edu/RDWeb/
  2. Login with your staff username and password in the following format:
    1. aie\your username, for example "aie\harryp"
  3. Once logged in, select "FAME" which will download a file
  4. Open the downloaded file, and click "Connect" when prompted
  5. You will be prompted for your username and password again, ensure you are logging in with the same username and password that you used above.
  6. After a few seconds, you should now be logged into the FAME Remote Server.

Time Saving Tip

We recommend you move the Remote Desktop Connection downloaded file to your desktop, next time you need to reconnect - you can simply double click this file to reconnect. You don't need to follow steps 1 to 3.
