If someone who has an AIE Apple computer needs to do simple edits on images, such as adding text, use Preview (the default image application)
Step-by-step guide
To edit in Preview
- Open image. Preview should be the default image app.
- When open, there should be a list of options on the menu bar.
- To add text to a picture, select Tools → Annotate → Add Text
- Adjust text formatting using the A button.
- There are other options in the menu for various tools such as the cropping tool
