IT Service Desk is the organisation's technical service desk, offering technical support and help/assistance to our students, faculty and staff.
The IT Service Desk provides support for:
- Audio/Visual Equipment Support: Basic troubleshooting of audio/visual equipment such as projectors and displays.
- General Troubleshooting: Perform troubleshooting of IT issues remotely and in person.
- Device setup: The setup and configuration of new desktop, laptops and mobile devices.
- Staff onboarding: Deliver requested devices and IT resources, ready and configured so new staff can be productive on their first day.
- Procurement: Easy purchasing of standard pre-approved computing equipment, software licenses, peripherals and other devices.
- Networking: Troubleshooting with our wired and wireless networks and connectivity issues.
- Software Support: Install supported software applications and provide support.
Moves and Transfers: Assistance with disconnecting and reconnecting equipment for minor staff moves.
