Below is a list of software available to all students on your Personal PC for free:

Audacity

You can download Audacity onto your PC by visiting the following Link

Autodesk 2019 Software

Maya, Motionbuilder and Mudbox is available to Students for free under their Educational licensing scheme at the following links:

 MotionBuilder 2019

 Mudbox 2019

You will be prompted to create an account or sign in if you have an existing account with Autodesk. Once signed in you will be able to select the following:

• • Version: Maya 2019/MotionBuilder 2019/Mudbox 2019
  • OS: Windows 64-bit
  • Language: English

You will then be a serial number and a download link.

DaVinci Resolve

DaVinci Resolve is available from the following here

You will be required to register your details and then  you will be provided a download link.

Houdini Apprentice

Houdini Apprentice licenses are available to all other students students via the following link

You will need to register with Houdini, once you have done so and activated your account you can then go to the following link and download Houdini.

Krita

Krita is available for all students to download via the following link

Unity Personal

Students are able to obtain a Personal edition of Unity by following the link below. 

Download and install the Personal version from the Unity Store

ProBuilder can be installed using Unity's Package Manager. Instructions on how to do so can be found here and scrolling to the 'How to get the tools, whats the roadmap' section.

Substance Software

Substance Designer, Painter and B2M are available to students via a free educational license. You can register for this educational license here

Unreal Engine 4

Unreal Engine 4.23.1 is available to students and can be installed by using the following  guide

Students will require an Epic Games account.

Visual Studio 2019

Visual Studio 2019 Community Edition is available from here

Follow the instructions on the Visual Studio website to download and install Visual Studio 2019

Accessing Software Downloads from a Personal PC (USA Students)

For details on how to access required software:

1. Login to https://aie.instructure.com/
2. Navigate to the ”!Welcome to AIE - USA Students” course.
3. Click “Software Downloads” and review the information on the page.
